I chose it because the audience feedback on it was very positive and a lot of people said that it represented the horror genre very well, there were a few comments saying it was more related to a slasher sub-genre and even though I can see that aspect I feel that the use of the sharp endings to letters, texture and slight splatters gave it a menacing feel to it which works well with my image of the 'jester' to connote trickery and perhaps mischief just like how a spirit from a Ouija Board uses to set themselves free.
I have added it to the left bottom corner of my poster, within the credits which is conventional for film posters to do as they are essentially part of the credits. I have made it the same colour as the slogan/catchphrase to keep a limited colour scheme within the poster.
