Seeming as a big theme in my storyline idea so far involves Ouija Boards I decided to do some research into real-life Ouija Board occurrences and I found some interesting ones.
The first website I went to was http://www.trueghosttales.com/ouija-boards.php where it actually gave me some history into the Ouija Board.
According to this website "The best selling board game in history, many people believe that the Ouija Board is an ancient tool used to contact the spirit world. Some even claim that the board dates back to 540 BC. However, while similar devices have been used since ancient times, the Ouija Board was actually patented on February 10, 1891. But, to this day, who actually invented the Ouija Board is still a subject of debate."
I found that going through the websites wasn't providing me with anything I was actually looking for so instead I decided to look on Youtube to see if there were any videos about real-life Ouija Board events and I was successful, I came across a video called "Top 5 SCARIEST OUIJA Gone BAD videos caught on camera"
After I watched this video I saw that it was very similar in the way that Ghost Hunting shows are done, with the night vision cameras and the handheld camera, this is something I'm going to consider when planning my own shots as it seems like conventional thing to do when it comes to the theme of ghosts and spirits.
Instead of searching for "Ouija Board Experiences" I searched for "Real Ghost Stories" and that brought up a lot more results one being http://www.yourghoststories.com/real-ghost-stories.php that acted as a forum for people to share their experiences.
The belief that demons exist and furthermore can possess an individual is mostly seen as the stuff of fiction and horror films— but it is also one of the most widely-held religious beliefs in the
world. Most religions claim that humans can be possessed by demonic
spirits (the Bible, for example, recounts six instances of Jesus casting
out demons), and offer exorcisms to remedy this threat.
The idea that invading spirits are inherently evil is largely a Judeo-Christian concept; many religions and belief systems accept possession by both beneficent and malevolent entities for short periods of time as uncommon — and not especially alarming — aspects of spiritual life. Spiritualism, a religion that flourished across America in the 1800s and is still practiced in a few places today, teaches that death is an illusion and that spirits can possess humans. New Agers have also long embraced a form of possession called channeling, in which spirits of the dead are said to inhabit a medium's body and communicate through them. Hundreds of books, and even some symphonies, have been allegedly composed by spirits.

There are many symbols for possession and also anti-possession which are commonly known even if the their true identity isn't.
